Printable Technologies Inc. is a recognized leader in providing both on-line and on-site Variable Data Document and Print Software Solutions to commercial digital print service providers, corporate enterprise marketing, advertising agencies, direct marketing companies, and ASP solution providers.
This position requires taking incoming calls and emails for assistance in using our web-based software. This position also includes problem troubleshooting and submitting trouble tickets to the engineering team, as well as receiving and solving tickets from other internal departments relating to customer’s technical requests. New and updated documents are on our online customer knowledge base. The Specialist with be working in a collaborative, team environment across the entire Company using effective communication, solid technical support processes, practices and database systems. The technical support specialist reports to the customer support manager.
Required Skills and Experience:- At least 2-4 years experience in a Technical Support desk position, preferably in as ASP environment. This includes taking customer calls at a high volume rate, solving customer issues, and providing customer service and maintaining a knowledgebase.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree, certifications preferred
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Mozilla for PC (Mac in addition is a plus)
- Extensive experience with online applications
- Knowledge and experience using and supporting online shopping carts
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- Ability to take a large volume of calls and work with customers over the phone and via email
- Knowledge of Quark, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat is preferred.
- Technical writing experience highly preferred
