Due to growth, we are looking for seasoned sales representatives, who have a track record of delivering on sales commitments in the enterprise software sales industry and expect to be generously rewarded for doing so. Qualified candidates shall have proven success in all phases of the sales process including developing relationships with key decision makers, forecasting sales, qualifying and assessing customer needs, building and managing the sales pipeline, delivering sales presentations via the web and in person, responding to in-bound and trade show customer leads, selling value-added software solutions, and closing the sale. Must be able to contribute both individually and as part of a team.
Primary Function
As a Software Sales Rep with an assigned Territory, you are responsible for new business development, sales of software, services and solutions. Using our Marketing efforts and some cold calling, you will develop new accounts and/or expand existing accounts within a territory to exceed sales quota and meet company business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- New business prospecting and development, including cold calling; scheduling client introductions and meetings; and preparing
- presentations, proposals, and bid specifications to strategically win new business.
- Participating in product demonstrations, seminars and trade shows to promote company image and products.
- Superior knowledge of sales techniques with the ability to capture and close the deal.
- The position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and successfully accomplish sales quota
- Minimal travel is required.
- Background and Experience
- BA/BS degree is required.
- 5 + years of enterprise software sales experience
- Excellent listening, communication and writing skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office packages including Word, Excel & PP
- Proficiency in using CRM applications, such as Salesforce.com
- Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to work on your own
- Strong presentation skills and experience with Webex and/or Microsoft Live Meeting
